More information: It is difficult to answer this without knowing exactly what type of lymphoma it is. Please ask again, if you know. Also, your oncologist should be able to answer this question most accurately.

See below: This depends on what type of lymphoma you have. Chemo should clearly prolong your life, and hopefully put you in remission and possibly cure you but it depends on what type of lymphoma you were diagnosed as having.
