A member asked:

How can you get the infection out of a lobe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lobe of what?: If you are referring to a lobe of a lung, resolution of the infection with antibiotics will generally result in the body resorbing the inflammatory exudates without permanent discernible damage. If you are referring to an earlobe, treatment with hot compresses and possibly antibiotics may be needed. If it is a lobe of another organ, be specific and reframe your question. Good luck.
