Yes: In general, given the dependence of the heart on the pulmonary system any smoking will inevitably damage the lungs which will negatively affect the heart...At least to some degree. This is why it is called "cardiopulmonary disease." strictly speaking, the degree to which it would be harmful would ultimately depend on the type of "heart problem.".
