Yes, go to the DR.: Yes, that does not sound good, you need to be seen right away. You could have a pleural effusion, but that does not explain the nodules . I assume you had a chest x-ray? Someone sent you in for that , right?....Better go back and get fully evaluated.

Pleural effusion: Is collection of fluid within the pleural cavity, between the parietal and visceral pleural linings and usually do not cause pain by itself. Yes, this could be a serious condition, especially if you are having breathing difficulty. You must be under a doctor's care immediately.
