Retest: Ibuprofen should not affect prolactin levels. It is best that you just repeat the test again soon just to make sure that it is not a lab error. If the level is high again then you should have an MRI of your pituitary done. Sometimes a small growth on your pituitary gland can increase prolactin levels and this is often treated with medication.
