Avoid pellets!: Low testosterone in women is best corrected transdermally with creams or gels, so it can be scientifically titrated! avoid pellets: absorption is erratic and once inside, how so you correct levels if too high? But you did not mention the most important fact. Is your libido low? Are psychological issues a factor? Cushings is exceedingly rare and a diagnosis of last resort!

2nd Opinion: It appears that your case deserves the opinion of an experienced endocrinologist. If pellet implant therapy is to be considered for either estrogen or testosterone replacement, don't be frightened over the unproven fear that they exhibit erratic absorption characteristics. There is no scientific data to support that claim. Pellet implants are simply one of the many methods available for hrt.

Cushing's a worry: Low testosterone is generally not a medical condition in women, only men. Cushing's is uncommon, but a definite concern if present. Check with a competent endocrinologist. Testosterone therapy in women can have many harmful side effects.

See and endocrinolog: Testosterone is not normally replaced in women, especially young women as no one knows the best dose to give w/o significant side effects. Cushings could be possible but some symptoms are vague, if concerned, see endocrinologist for testing for cushings and although pellets are available, they are not the most common form of hrt, requires a minor surgery and can be hard to remove.
