There is.......: If you are describing your problem correctly. Pronation is a motion that occurs in the foot in the joints right below the ankle (sub-talar joint). You should see a podiatrist and have a bio mechanical evaluation. There may be treatment alternatives, such as orthotics, that are more conservative. Orthotics can help control pronation and may be sufficient to control your problem.

Orthotics: You shouldn't be so fast to think surgery. A good foot orthotic may be all you need- custom made not otc- see a podiatrist.
