Apply a cottonball to the uninfected ear to wick away any medication in the ear canal. Follow up with your physician, if there is no improvement.

Hello. Ofloxacin is not ototoxic. We use this ear drop in patients who need drops after we place tubes in the eardrum. The hearing loss you are experiencing in the left ear is most probably due to the fact that you now have fluid behind your eardrum. This should resolve, if not, follow up with your ENT doctor.
