SCHOOL PHOBIA:: First time school, new school, new peers can be the cause of school phobia, separation anxiety, etc. If his behavior/interaction at home, family, known friends has been usual prior to starting school, then not to worry, he will be fine. Talk to his teacher again, tell her to encourage him doing things at school. He needs extra attention and praise, positive re-enforcement. Good luck.
