Using an ankle boot for possible fx and pain in ankle. have numbness in toes and sole electric pain shoots out. boot makes these unbearable. pls help?

Nerve Irritation....: This is a sign that a nerve is irritated or being abnormally compressed. See your treating doctor. You may need some compression to get rid of some swelling. Rest, ice and maybe an anti-inflammatory medication would help too.

You need to : Inform your doctor. It is unclear if you tried the boot on your own or on doctors advise. Make sure the boot fits properly and is not pressing on a nerve. But, i would switch to crutches and take the boot off until you see the doc if the boot makes the issue worse which it should not.
