Few cases of iritis. had chest and si joint x-rays. all fine. does this rule out sarcoidosis? had blood work too. all fine except hs crp level is 2.6.

Sarcoidosis: This granulomatous disorder can be a cause of iritis and numerous other organ system diseases. Diagnosis is difficult and is best made with biopsy of involved tissues. We have already discussed your crp.

No: Spondyloarthropathy and sarcoid still must be considered. Early ankylosing spondylitis may not be recognized on si x-rays and other forms of spondylitis may spare the si.
