Not always: Heart attacks may manifest in different symptoms. At times, it is silent (no symptoms). Or it's only heart racing sensation. Typically though, it is more than that. Chest pain (i am not talking about a discomfort but crushing agonizing pain), sometimes upper stomach pain, shortness of breath etc. The symptoms you are describing sound more like he may have had a mild flu. See your dr if persists.
