Yes, I think so.: It may be situational or related to a physical illness so see a doctor to catch a disease. A good adolescent psychologist or psychiatrist can help you discover if it is mild or severe and provide the right treatment. So much is happening in these late teen years that it is worth getting yourself into good shape for adulthood. You only feel worthless, you really have value - find it - it's there!

Yes: You could be depressed. Adolescence is a time when many young people have strong mood swings. 8 months is a long time to feel so bad. Tell your parents how you are feeling and ask to see a therapist. They will help you sort out your feelings and see whether medication is needed.
