Is abdom aortic anerysm visible on chest x-rays?

No: The best way to detect AAA is by physical exam, ultrasound of the abdomen, and/or ct scan. A plain x-ray can detect calcification in the general area of the aorta, but cannot measure the size, or detect the presence, of an aneurysm.
