Depends: It kind of depends what you mean. A dislocated toe is usually not life threatening, but it can be extremely painful and usually quite straight forward to reduce. Didn't the er. Doctor put it back in? I would not wait until january to have it taken care of, even if you have to go back to an er to get it taken care of. The longer they are left out , the harder they are to put back in.
