I am an 18 year old female what vitamins are recommended for me? i really am lost at this one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

General multivitamin: If you eat a healthy diet you don't need to have a vitamin. If you are not the greatest with your diet, then as a young female you should take a general multivitamin with iron (to avoid anemia associated with having periods) designed for woman. A cheap generic vitamin with iron is fine! if you are thinking of getting pregnant in the next 6 months, it should have 400mg of Folic Acid in the vitamin.
