Anemia reason?: Taking iron for anemia only helps if you are iron deficient. The reason for anemia needs to be determined.

Just had 2 iron infusions (anemia due to very heavy periods and PPI use). Lab work 1 week after infusions shows a high ALT level (42) and AST higher than usual also (27). Both are usually in the teens- Related to the infusion? I do not drink?
