A member asked:

I was told by friends that drinking alot of milk during pregnancy help the baby to develop smooth skin. is that a myth?

Yes it's a myth: Calcium is important for you. The baby will take what it needs from your teeth and bones and if you don't get enough you will risk dental problems and thinning of your bones. It really doesn't make a difference for the baby's skin. Almost all newborns have extremely soft skin.
