Sweating and COPD: Typically sweating is not normal every hour. With copd, sweating or flushes can be due to period of low o2 especially during effort, stress, anxiety etc. Remember: low oxygen does not necessarily manifest with shortness of breath. You may feel ok with low o2. Another reason could be an infection (copd lung are not normal and thus may be sensitive to sticky organisms which could cause sweatiness).
