Not sure of question: Seems like you have several issues. I suspect you mean the cardiac echo showed an atrial appendage and mitral prolapse - neither of which is a likely explanation for your symptoms.

Mitral prolapse: for basically an unknown reason is associated with panic attacks; cannot say in your particular case, but generally, symptoms like yours can be present with mitral valve prolapse (SSRI's are highly effective in that context).
