mucus fishing syndr: You have mucus glands that produce the stingy clear strands. It sounds like you have mucus fishing syndrome. Try using antihistamines and mucinex (guaifenesin). Or seek help from your eye md. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11712630.
