Are venofer and ferritin ivs the same chemically? i seem to have different results from these iron infusions, with better results from the slow drip.

No: Venofer is an IV iron supplement, ferritin is a blood test used to estimate iron stores. I suspect that you mean ferrlecit, (sodium ferric gluconate) which is another form of IV iron. Both of these drugs work well in general. Specific patients may differs. Discuss with your doctors.
