Anemic (ferritin was 0) had iron infusion, rbc is 4.63, wbc is 5.1 and platelets are 116. dr thinks counts ok. feel terrible. what could this be?

Anemia: Count is not normal.First of all,info is limited. Clearly you have thrombocytopenia with Anemia( ? severity) and iron deficient. Reasonable RBC indicating towards normal Bone marrow. Do you have enlarge spleen ? Is this problem new or old.your prior blood test? esp-Hb, and RBC indices, Platelet count, ? Hemolysis

Why were you anemic: This is the essential question. I agree that the current counts would have nothing to do with making you feel bad, but it is possible that there is some underlying condition which can make you anemic and make you feel bad.
