Hyperthyroidism: Based on your question, i think you had a radioactive iodine uptake done, and it was 26%. If so, this is in the high-normal range. You likely have either graves disease or a toxic multinodular goiter. Have you had a ct scan with IV contrast lately, or do you take vitamins with iodine? These can affect the uptake. You need to be under the care of an endocrinologist, and it sounds like you are.
