Yes: Warm salt water is always good to help areas heal in the mouth, including dry sockets... Just not for the first 24 hours after surgery...

Healing extraction: You are doing everything you can. Prevent any food from getting stuck in the extraction site. Gently brush the adjacent teeth. You should be ok.
