A member asked:

Is 2 mgs of valuim equal to 2 mgs lorazapam in terms of potency and would lorazapam ever be dosed at that amount?

Diazepam/lorazepam : Lorazepam 2 mg is much more potent than 2 mg of diazepam. It is equal to about 10 mg of diazepam, and it leaves the body a lot faster than diazepam. Lorazepam comes in 2 mg tabs that are sometimes used for extreme panic anxiety.

Not equal: I am not the best at benzodiazepine conversion but my intuition tells me that 2 mg of diazepam is roughly like 0.5 mg of lorazepam. Notice the decimal point there, they are both not high doses. Stay safe!
