Sorry about your : Pain. Cysts of the ovary usually resolve. Cysts at about 5 cm sometimes need surgery. Cysts can cause complications such torsion or twisting of the ovary. If you are still in severe pain you may need an ultrasound to evaluate your cyst for other problems. If you can't take the pain then you should go to the er.
