Why would ovarian cysts not show on ct scan when it showed on u/s the day before?

It depends: on how the CT was performed. and how big the cysts are. Transvaginal ultrasound has superior resolution to routine CT, so small cysts visible on US may be difficult or impossible to see on CT, particularly if the CT was performed without IV contrast.
