I had a cortisone shot in my palm, about an hour before a cbc. it was not a fasting one. will there be any effect with the steriod im my system?thanks

May increase WBC #: Steroids may increase white blood cell counts in peripheral blood, usually depends on dose and time after therapy. In your case it may not affect your CBC results if it was local injection in palm and only an hour before lab test.

yes!: Probably will falsely raise your blood sugar and might effect your cortisol and WBC count.
