Pcp switched me from pravastatin to atorvastatin. does atorvastatin pack a bigger punch? what are some differences between the two?

LDL reduction: Your individual circumstances, such as how much you need to lower your cholesterol and whether you have heart disease or have had a heart attack plays into the choice of drug used. The goal is reduction in bad cholesterol.
