pinguecula: You have discovered your pinguecula, a normal deposit of elastic and fatty tissue which all eyes make to protect against wind and dust. Since they have limited blood supply, if the eye gets red then these become highlighted by contrast and stand out as a whitish-yellowish dot. It is benign, normal and nothing to worry about.
