Cataract: You need to have a slit lamp examination to determine if the opacity is in your cornea or your lens.

Light reflex: The white spot could be the light reflex which appears as a tiny white dot in the middle of the pupil. It should appear the same in both eyes. If this is not the case, schedule an exam with an ophthalmologist to determine what's going on.
