Counseling: I would see a good psychologist first. Medication is not a panacea for all things. A trained psychologist will be able to sort out possible causes and recommend therapies which may, or may not include medication. I would pursue this asap.

Seek help: Seek the services of a psychiatrist who will be able to help you. You may going through the emotional ups and downs that all teenagers go through. Some can make it without help and some need help. Don't be ashamed of this. Good luck and don't delay seeking the treatment you need.
