How long does it take for a big toe fracture to heal?

A few weeks: Toe fractures can take a long time to heal, partly because it's very hard to immobilize the bones. But be patient, it will heal. Take it easy, no running or kicking until you are healed on an x--ray!

6 to 8 weeks: Usually at a minimum 6 to 8 weeks but pain swelling persists longer, but must have the correct diagnosis.
