Cacao Nibs: These beans are the basis for dark chocolate. They contain flavonoids which are very healthy. More and more foods are featuring cacao, and they are not, as far as we know, harmful. If you prefer the taste, continue to sample them!

to avoid sugar: Cacao has many proven health benefits but is bitter. Chocolate is basically cacao with added sugar. Sugar is toxic with many proven detriments. Thus, with cacao nibs you get all of the benefits without the downside of sugar.
