Synthroid: I was surprised to learn that certain foods as well as minerals like iron&calcium can bind to thyroid hormones like synthroid &inhibit absorption. The best way to avoid this is to take synthroid the first thing in the morning when your stomach is empty and wait until later in the day to eat foods or supplements that can interfere with synthroid absorption. Your pharmacist can give you more info.
