A member asked:

I started getting bad daily headaches but mri without contrast came back normal. what other test can be done ? should i have one with contrast?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not typically: It is very uncommon for headaches to be caused by abnormal pathology in the brain, and an MRI without contrast is a very good test for ruling out pathological causes of daily headaches. The next best step would be to work with a doctor who specializes in headache to help you bring them under control.
