A member asked:

How often should blood sugar be checked if you're not diabetic? there are diabetics in my family but i'm not overweight and i don't smoke like they do

A doctor has provided 1 answer

diabetes risk: If you are at risk for diabetes, you may wish to get a glucose and/or a1c checked once per year. More often if you start to develop symptoms. It is probably not necessary more often than that.
