A member asked:

I use oculosan eye drops 2-3 times a day(one drop each eye) for the last 4-5 years. will it cause any serious problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Toxicity: Oculosan contains the vasoconstricting eye medication naphazoline along with some homeopathic ingredients. Using this type of eye drop may lead to chronic irritation of the eye due to medication and/or preservative toxicity. The eye drop constricts blood vessels on the eye which then often return with a vengeance when the effect wears off. I would see an eye doctor for a diagnosis and treatment.
