Not wise: When we eat, substantial amount of your blood goes to the gastrointestinal system leaving little for your execising muscles.

Exercise then eat.: Would be better to exercise before a meal than after. First, your energy would come from your fat stores and not from the carbohydrates you’d just eaten. Second, your exercise can create a caloric deficit that you can refill with lean protein and complex carbohydrates.
