symptoms: The urine culture provides a colony count to assess the significance of the bacteria amount present with >100, 000 considered significant. However, the presence of urinary symptoms with any colony is an indication for treatment.

How do you feel?: Severity of infection is gauged by your signs and symptoms. Do you have fever, nausea, high temp, flank pain, bladder pain? If you have no symptoms might want to consider repeating the test.
