Many causes...: There are several things which can cause headaches including over use of medications used to treat them. An evaluation by a doctor experienced in treating chronic headaches is your best option for determining the cause and possible treatment options.

Headache: I am empathic to your concerns about headache for 12 years. It is likely that stress of'smacking head hard' at age 13, stresses of school, relationships with parents, siblings and friends, stresses of work and finances have contributed to your headache. Please see a neurologist and a psychiatrist for diagnosis and treatment.
