Go see your GI doc: As doctors, we're pretty picky when it comes to names. So your treatment options depend upon whether you have ulcerative colitis (http://www.Ccfa.Org/what-are-crohns-and-colitis/what-is-ulcerative-colitis/colitis-medication.Html) or crohn's (http://www.Ccfa.Org/what-are-crohns-and-colitis/what-is-crohns-disease/crohns-medication.Html). While similar, there are differences, too, so discuss w/ur doc.
