Pneumothorax: Typically tall lean get that. You should get a cxr, chest x ray to make sure.

Neuromuscular pain: The change in pain with range of motion a little bit reassuring that it is muscle with some nerve involvement that increases with movement. I have that before with all the stress and the "knots". Still due to your risk and previous event a good exam by your pmd to assure no recurrence is indicated, maybe a cxr.
