Lymph nodes: These enlarge in response to inflammation, which they fight. You may have a dental infection, or something similar. If this does not begin to resolve quickly you may want to see a dentist or a doctor and have this evaluated.

Midline?: If it is between the jaw and the angle of the neck in the midline it is most likely a lymph node or thyroglossal duct cyst. You should see an ent.
