Tinnitis: It sounds like you have vibrating noise in the ear or ears. The condition is called tinnitis. There is no known cure or even good control. You get used to it.

probably not: Allergies may give a plugged, crackling, or full sensation. Repetitive tapping is caused by contraction of the tiny stapedial muscle tendon. Stop all caffeine and other stimulants, if no help go to your ent.
