Neck and back pain: You need to have an MRI on your neck and low back. Then see a interventional pain specialist about epidural steroid injections , facet injections just to name a few. There are options but you first need an accurate diagnosis.

Pain MD evaluation: Chronic neck and back pain may be treatable by interventional procedures which can reduce or eliminate the need to use narcotics. An evaluation by a physician who specializes in interventional techniques can evaluate you and explain treatment options.

Narcotics are NOT for chronic pain. Besides, they don’t ‘treat’ anything ... th y just cover up the pain temporarily. Eventually they stop working and you end up dying of an overdose. Seek out an Holistic Pain MD who incorporates acupuncture, behavioral therapy etc. to help with your pain. If you can’t find the cause of your pain at least they can help you deal with it.
