Neurologist: I advise consulting a neurologist as a definitive diagnosis is needed. You may be dealing with a nerve impingement or radiculopathy from a herniated disc or a bone spur in your neck or with a primary neuritis . Appropriate testing which will most likely include an MRI is needed in order to advise you and discuss treatment options.
