Knee pain from hip: You would benefit from seeing a physician to access further the source of your pain. Potential sources include inflammation of the sciatic nerve secondary to tight muscles in the gluteal area and or ilio tibial fascia that runs along side of your hip. It is important to describe your pain in detail eg is it burning or sore is there numbness or tingling of any body parts.
