For the past three months or so my hips (primarily my right) have been hurting. sometimes a snapping feeling occurs while i walk, my knees hurt as wel?

See your orthopod: A hip problem can cause local pain in the hip area but also in the knee as well. The snapping sensation could be from a bursitis but a hip joint problem should be certainly considered. Another cause for all these symptoms could be a spinal lesion. See your orthopod to be investigated properly.
